Ascension Reformed Church
Lifting Hearts to
Christ the King
Sunday, November 24 - Worship at Westwood First Presbyterian Church at Noon.
Ordinarily, we worship at 10 AM at 3620 Epley Lane. But our rental property is unavailable on November 24, so we will be returning to our old stomping grounds for a single service at 12 PM. Join us at Westwood First Presbyterian Church, 3011 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati.
On normal Sundays, we have both a Communion Service and a Catechism Service (doctrinal instruction). There is a cry room for younger children and a catechism memorization class for the older ones. We enjoy lunch together on the final Sunday of each month.
We are in the process of renovating our first church building, but we will not move in until April 2025.
About Us
Ascension Reformed Church began worshiping as a small church plant in July 2013. We have been growing in the grace of the Lord Jesus ever since and would be excited for you to become part of Our Story.
Though we are a young church, we are also very old. Confessing the creeds, we are rooted in the Ancient Church. And by confessing the Three Forms of Unity, we are a Reformed congregation. Learn more about Our Beliefs.
Christ is the Head of His Church, and we submit to His leadership. He exercises this leadership through ministers, elders, and deacons. Learn more about Our Leadership. We are a member congregation of the United Reformed Churches.

What does it mean to be “Reformed”?
Many in Cincinnati are probably unfamiliar with the Reformed Church tradition: “Does this mean you’re liberal, or that you’re changing something?” There are surely others who have come across aspects of it but mistakenly reduce it to “Five Points.” And still others express the sentiments of one of my college professors, that the Reformed are extinct, and they were a bunch of power-hungry Christians whose greatest delight was in punishing heretics and in holding witch-trials.
